The publication “Same Bold Stories? Type Design by Women and Queers in the 20th and 21st Centuries” accompanies the exhibition of the same title at the Klingspor Museum in Offenbach am Main.

The book offers an informative and theoretical expansion on the exhibition theme. Embracing the concept of “messy history” by Martha Scotford and working collaboratively with Leonie Martin (turbo type), the publication doesn’t follow a single layout — each article is unique and represents truly collaborative work, with both of us editing and revising from the concept stage to print preparation. The layouts challenge the linear narrative of the book and the traditional hierarchy of its elements. All fonts used in the book are by FLINTA* designers.

Together with Leonie Martin (turbo type).
